MANAGING DIRECTOR CREATION @ SERVICEPLAN COLOGNE
After earning his business degree from Canterbury University and completing a postgraduate diploma in creative advertising at AdSchool in Auckland, New Zealand, Andy began his career at double Cannes Grand Prix winning agency TBWA\WHYBIN under the creative Godship of Andy Blood.
Kicked to the curb by the 2009 financial crises, Andy packed his bags - destination Berlin to restart the dream that was idling. Over the following 12 years, he honed his craft at renowned agencies such as Scholz & Friends, Parasol Island, and BBDO, garnering numerous accolades including Gold at every major award show & multiple Grand Prix awards, from the Effies to Euro Best, and in 2021, he was recognized as the ninth most awarded Executive Creative Director globally by the UK's Drum Magazine.
In 2022, Andy was invited to join Serviceplan as the Managing Director and Creative Lead of their Cologne branch. Serviceplan is the top creatively ranked independent agency group in Europe and has continued to grow against an industry in decline. Serviceplan was crowned the independent Network of the year at Cannes 2022, at D&AD in 2024 and also LIA in 2024 for the fourth year in a row.
Andy’s married and has two amazing kids and a rescued Spanish street dog named Hootch. After work, Andy has a passion for creating art, photography, playing guitar and writing in third person.
